Choose and Cook
Inclusive Technology has done it again! Choose and Cook is a fantastically motivating piece of software. As practitioners we all know that our SLD & PMLD students are enthused by food so what better subject to pick!

It is set out in the familiar design of the Choose and Tell products so there’s no need to worry about having to navigate round something new. It has a simple uncluttered interface with access options to suit all and good sound quality.

Being familiar with Inclusive software my students immediately knew how to play the program.

I found the program instantly lends itself to be used for group work on the interactive plasma screen. Inclusive Technology always provide good quality resources with their software.

The large laminated recipe cards and the ingredients sheets which come with it are extremely clear and self explanatory. I have used these with the students who find using the plasma screen difficult. It means no one is excluded!

Choose and Cook
“Choose and Cook” opens up discussions on healthy/unhealthy food choices, ingredients and utensils. We had many a debate on what we should use to peel potatoes or where the bread is kept!

What I particularly like about this program is the fact that it can be carried over to food technology lessons. The smaller cookbooks and pictures of utensils are a fantastic resource for use in a practical session.

SO once again Inclusive Technology have hit the nail on the head and produced a piece of software which excites and engages learners of all ages and ability!!
